Welcome to the Eric, David, and Terry's Excellent Adventure home page.
• We three sailing buddies hatched a plan during a long evening sail on Lake Ontario to do some "down south" sailing over the winter. After some research and discussion, we decided to go with Barefoot Charters out of St.Vincent & the Grenadines in early February 2002. We got the boat (Christina - a 38' Beneteau Moorings) for 9 days and spent the time enjoying excellent sailing, snorkling, and sightseeing.
Our sailing area was from Grenada in the south to St.Lucia in the north, but due to weather (very windy!) and immigration hassles (1/2 day wasted plus $50US per person) we decided to stick to St.Vincent and the Grenadines.
This web site is an attempt to journal our trip, mostly for relatives and friends. It is largely a way to publish our photos which were taken mostly on a Canon SureShot 110 digital camera. Underwater photos were taken with a disposable 35mm underwater camera bought at a gift shop. A ship's log was kept and scans of that document are available at various points by clicking on the log icon . So, without further ado....
